FF Forsikring is constantly striving to improve client offering to distinguish in the insurance market and obtain highest customer satisfaction. Over the years, Frie Forsikring has gathered a large amount of data about the market, clients and demands in their backend system. The SMART self-sufficient reporting tool, delivered by IO Group, provides FF Forsikring with a solution that leverages the extensive, and already existing business data while saving operation time.
The improved data insight enables speed to market and enables a higher degree of fact-based decisions. In general, the solution provides options for obtaining a more advanced knowledge by viewing and analyzing business data in a user friendly and transparent way where data can be presented in different contexts and shapes.
In addition to the obvious business benefits, there was a further efficiency gain of ½ – 1 FTE months per year of reduced manual report effort.

Solution details: It is a Cloud Azure solution that directly links to the existing backend system via REST API’s. This means that the FNOL data is directly uploaded to the backend system without any subsequent process handling, any delay, nor any manual interference. Data storage is only happening in the Backend system, which means that existing GDPR functionality is leveraged.

Power BI / SMART reporting – a Management and decision proposition
Our client requested an enhanced and more efficient way forward to get a business overview. Our SMART reporting / Management and Decision proposition is based upon a DW lite cloud-based solution to structure and enrich data for our client.
From contract signature to we went live: 3,5 months.
We have provided our client with approx. 15 basis business overview and we have together set up additional 10 extended reports / overviews.
Our client has now obtained self-sufficiency can make adjustments of any of the required overviews and based on demand our client can at any time include additional data sources to the business overviews.

IO Web / parser solution
IO Group has delivered a process optimization to one of our clients, where the incoming online / web Quote requests are being handled automatically; automatic screening data in a provided pdf document (pdf document with house / property information) followed by generation of a Quote and Case in their backend system.
Over the last year, approx. 18500 Online Quote requests have been received which all have been managed automatically by the IT solution. Our client has estimated an average saving of 15 min per request which results in more than 3 man years of released effort during a 12 months period.
The process improvement has triggered other related benefits such as quick turnaround, reduction of bottlenecks even in more demanding times, standardized approach, less errors etc.
